1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of decencygroup.in and the candidate portal operated by Decency Facilities Management Private Limited (DFM, also known as the DFM Group). They apply to anyone browsing our website, registering as a candidate, applying for a job, or submitting a hiring requirement on behalf of a business. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or registering a candidate account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, we'd ask that you not use the site or the portal.
3. Eligibility
Our recruitment services are meant for individuals who are of legal working age under applicable Indian law — generally 18 years and above. By registering, you're confirming that you meet this requirement, that the information you give us is accurate, and that you're legally eligible to work in the location and role you're applying for.
4. Use of the Website
You're welcome to browse our job listings, learn about our services, and get in touch with an enquiry or a hiring requirement. We may update, add to, or remove features of the website and portal from time to time as we improve it, and we'll try to keep disruption to a minimum when we do.
5. Recruitment Services
DFM operates as a recruitment and manpower staffing company. We help connect candidates with employers and businesses looking for workforce, across sectors such as warehousing, logistics, e-commerce and more. Depending on the specific engagement, our role may be to source and place candidates on behalf of a client, or to facilitate the connection between a candidate and an employer — the exact nature of that relationship can vary by role and by employer, and where it matters, we'll make it clear who the actual employer is.
6. Job Listings and Accuracy of Information
Job listings on our site describe opportunities as they stand at the time they're posted. Details like salary, location, vacancies and requirements can change based on the employer's needs or market conditions, and a listing may be updated or closed without notice. Please confirm current details with us or with the employer before making an important decision — like resigning from a current job — based on a listing alone.
7. Candidate Applications
When you apply for a role through our portal, your existing profile — your name, experience, skills and any relevant documents — is shared with the employer or recruitment partner behind that listing, so they can review your application. You can apply once per job listing, and you can track the status of every application you've submitted from your dashboard.
8. Candidate Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, current and truthful information on your profile and in your applications
- Keep your profile updated as your experience, skills or contact details change
- Upload only genuine documents that belong to you
- Respond to interview invitations and other communications in a reasonable time
- Confirm role details — including salary, location and working conditions — directly with us or the employer before accepting an offer
9. Documents and Verification
You're responsible for the documents you upload — your resume, Aadhaar card, PAN card, photograph, certificates and experience letters. Our recruitment team may review, verify, reject, or ask you to re-upload a document with a note explaining why. Submitting false information, or a document that doesn't genuinely belong to you, can lead to your application being rejected or your account being suspended.
10. Communication
We may contact you by phone call, email, or WhatsApp about your account, an application, or an interview. Please keep your contact details current so we can reach you — an application that can't be followed up on may not move forward.
11. No Employment Guarantee
Registering an account or applying for a job through DFM doesn't guarantee you an interview, a selection, or a job offer. Every hiring decision is made by the employer or recruitment partner behind that role — DFM helps connect candidates with opportunities, but we don't make hiring decisions on an employer's behalf.
Salary, incentives, accommodation, meal benefits and other working conditions can vary by role, location and employer, and may differ from what's mentioned in a general listing — please verify these details with us or the employer before joining. Once you're placed with an employer, your actual employment relationship is with that employer, not with DFM, unless we've told you otherwise for a specific role.
12. Third-Party Employers and Partners
DFM works with a range of client companies and recruitment partners across industries. Where a business name appears on our website — for example, in our portfolio or industries pages — this reflects a genuine staffing or recruitment relationship and doesn't mean that DFM owns, controls, is owned by, or is otherwise affiliated with that business beyond that relationship. Any third-party company names, logos or trademarks referenced on our site remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Fraud and Scam Warning
Recruitment is unfortunately a common target for fraud, and people sometimes impersonate recruitment agencies to trick job seekers. Our website does not ask you to pay any fee to register, apply for a job, or upload your documents.
If someone claiming to represent DFM asks you for money — for "registration", training, uniforms, or anything else — or asks for sensitive information outside of our official website and portal, treat it with caution. Verify who you're speaking to by contacting us directly using the phone number or email published on decencygroup.in, rather than a number or address given to you elsewhere.
14. Account Security
You should register only one account, keep your login details confidential, and let us know straight away if you believe someone else has accessed your account without permission. We may ask you to confirm your current password before changing sensitive details like your email, mobile number or password.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or close an account that provides false information, misuses the platform, or violates these Terms, or where we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect the integrity of our recruitment process. You're free to stop using the site at any time, and you can ask us to close your account by contacting us using the details below.
16. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The DFM name, logo, website design and original content on decencygroup.in belong to Decency Facilities Management Private Limited and shouldn't be copied, reproduced or used without our permission. Job listings and other content are made available for your own use in connection with your application — not for republishing or commercial use elsewhere.
17. Prohibited Activities
- Submitting false or misleading information, or documents that aren't genuinely yours
- Attempting to access another candidate's account or data without authorization
- Interfering with the website or portal — including attempting to bypass security, scraping content, or overloading our systems
- Using the site for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonating DFM staff, another candidate, or an employer
18. Third-Party Links and Services
Our site may link to, or embed content from, services we don't control — such as the Google Map on our Contact page. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site or service you reach through our website.
19. Disclaimers
We work to keep our website accurate, secure and available, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every job listing will be current at every moment, or that any particular application will result in an interview or an offer.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DFM isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website, your reliance on a job listing, or your dealings with an employer or recruitment partner once you're connected with them. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't lawfully be excluded or limited.
21. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for, and to hold DFM harmless from, any claims or losses arising from false information you've provided, documents submitted that aren't genuinely yours, or your violation of these Terms.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services or applicable law. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page — continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms, so we'd encourage checking back periodically.
23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh — where our office is located — will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to confirmation of DFM's registered legal details.
